New Dress/PJ for Road to War V

I told myself I was going to make anything new for this event. but I woke up freezing this morning so I new I had to make me a new dress/pj. It's made of flannel and I got out my sewing machine with the fancy stitches and found some lace trim so this is what I made today. Now I'm ready for this weekend.

Happy St. Patty's Day

I finished my first dress I made all by myself. I cut it out and sewed it yesterday. I might put ribbon on it later around the neck, sleeves and bottom of it. I'm not sure if the cloth is period enough but I like it. It looks like cross stitch but it's just the fabric.

John's Court Tunic.........

John's Court Tunic is finished. I got the rest of the trim in the mail yesterday. I got the trim from Calontir Trim. They are really good to deal with and very fast for service. Now I have to finish his cape and finished the outside trim on my dress.

Lastest stuff.......

Well, I worked some more on Hubby new Tunic. My friend came over last weekend and showed me how to cut it out so now I know how to do it on my own. I also have enough fabric left over to make him a small cape to go with it. The picture above is the trim I'm using on it, that's the sleeves and I had to order more trim for the bottom, them next month. I'm going to have to order more for the cape so everything matches.

I'm also working on making something for the Gift baskets at Gulf Wars. We have to make things for "THE OUTLANDS" so I' was going to ,make a table runner but don't have enough fabric so it's going to end up a Candle Mat or some Fancy Napkins. Found a picture of there colors and the stag so i'm working on that part.

I finnally got the ribbon for the bookmarks and I have to braid it then add it to the beaded part. But I have til The end of April to finish them.

Busy Week.....

The first thing I did was Finish Hubby's tunic I added the Blackbird to it. then I workedo n some of my Dresses, I repaired 2 that where ripped, and added trim to this one:

I also want to add trin around the sides but need to get more, so I have to wait til Spring Coronation when the Trim vendor is there.

Then I had this lace and I wasn't sure what to make out of it so I decieded to make a overtunic out of it. I will wear it over my Black Velvet. it ties at the sides and I have a black lace belt that I can use with it.

I also added more trim to another dress but still have to finish the neck part, it already had trim on the sleeves when I bought it. Pictures when I'm finished.

Happy Holidays!

I hope eveyone is enjoying their Holidays. My Hubby John le Irish is fighting in his first fight this weekend at the Trident Tourney, so I made him a fight tunic for him to wear. Since his persona is Irish I added the 4 leaf clover to the front. I think it turned out really nice. Here is a picture of it.
